Convenient location with easy access to Malton and good local taxi firms. Clean and tidy lodge with helpful staff.
Fusty smell on arrival and presence of wasps made it difficult to enjoy the outside space. Issues with cleanliness, including tab ends and bikini bottoms on the decking.

our stay at the lodge in Malton was absolutely perfect. tucked away in the quiet woodlands, yet conveniently close to town, it exceeded our expectations. the enclosed property allowed our children to explore freely, and the hot tub was a sublime addition for the whole family to enjoy under the stars. it was just the getaway we needed.
Sofa bed was uncomfortable.

We had an amazing time at this lodge! The value for money was great, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for us. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The only thing that could make breakfast better would be a wider variety of options.

My family and I had the absolute best couple of days at this lodge. It was the perfect size for our family , excellent location, feels like the quiet woodlands but tucked behind a main road and only a short drive into town. Managed to even get food delivered , and the actual property is well enclosed so my small children could explore outside and ride their bikes without me having to worry about them running off or getting lost. And THEN… the hot tub… sublime addition. The whole family got to enjoy it and then the quiet evenings out on the porch in the hot tub, under the stars with the lovely ambient lighting around the cabin…it was just the perfect little getaway we needed.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location of the lodge was ideal, situated in a lovely area. the cleanliness of the lodge was satisfactory, with the exception of a few minor issues such as cobwebs on the decking and gate. the self, check, in process was convenient and hassle, free.
Despite the convenient self, check, in process, the staff seemed difficult to reach and unresponsive to inquiries.
